Magic Touch: Wati and Danladi
Magic Touch: Wati and Danladi. Danladi Fitto Buba (Danladi), the groom is from Bauchi state where He attended Iliya Adamu primary school and St Maria private school. He further went to Army Day Secondary School Sani Abacha Barracks, Abuja and Bayero University Kano.
Danladi, just like Wati, told us he had met his wife through her cousin and also a mutual friend who spoke to him about her again. He said their relationship started in October 2016.
“I connected with Wati the first day we met. I knew she was the one for me because she was there with me in my most trying times and of course God did confirm as well. I am so excited to start a new life with the love of my life; it feels so good and fulfilling.
My choice of outfit was inspired by my love for black and white, those are my favorite colors and that was why I wore a white tux on a black trouser. And for the rest of the wedding planning, my beautiful wife handled it. She knows how to put “the magic touch” to everything.
Hmmm… we are definitely here for this love story.
The couple’s traditional marriage ceremony held in February 2018. Danladi and his family came to perform the traditional rites at Wati’s residence.
Following the traditional wedding, was the church wedding which took place on 7th July 2018, in Ecwa church central area, Abuja. The ceremony started with the arrival of the Groom who awaits his bride. The bride is later accompanied by her father and a bridal train. Family, friends, and guests were in attendance.
Hymns were sung, prayers said and the sermon was given before the Reverend summoned the couples to the altar to say their vows and exchange rings. The Rev and other Ministers pray for their union. The Couple and their witnesses sign the wedding certificates and the marriage was official.
The wedding reception was immediately after the church wedding. Wati changed into another elegant white dress. Family, friends, and guests came ready for the business of the day. There were games for the couples to play, dance competition among the couple and their friends and when it came to who was to catch the bouquet; Wati shared the flowers each among her friends. The groom threw his tuxedo for the lucky person that will marry among his friends but something very funny happened; all of them ran away and left the tuxedo on the floor!
Everyone came to show off their dance step, different styles of outfits… it was a day to remember. A day with “the Magic Touch”.
The excitement on both their faces was undeniable… we could easily tell that it was a dream come true… a dream with “the magic touch”.
